There are three ways to create cards in Channelkit: in your Dashboard, by using a browser extension or via Facebook Messenger.

1. In Dashboard

Hit the Plus button at the top and pick a category. The next step is to paste a link or upload a file depending on the category you choose. Channelkit will parse your source and create a card preview, it’s title and a description. It’s up to you now to add specific details into other fields.

2. With browser extension

Browser extensions help you create cards from a webpage you are currently visiting. A webpage is saved as Link by default, but you can dive into it by clicking Edit and change it.

3. Via Facebook Messenger

Simply share a link with Channelkit via Facebook Messenger. The only difficulty you might face is typing “Channelkit” to search through your conversations. And you’ll have to log in to your account of course.

And yes, you can also save links from your mobile browser by doing exactly the same — share any link with the bot as you would do with a Facebook friend. Give it a try!

This post is a part of brief introduction letters for Channelkit users. The letters are packed with basic tutorials and ideas on how to keep your information and knowledge organised, so I decided to share them on Medium.
